Where is Princess Tapi located?
Princess Tapi is located in Toronto, Canada and is independently owned and operated by me, Hameda Yeung (mEda). The Princess Tapi Studio is based out of my home and features handmade clothing as well as other handpicked items for Pullip, Blythe, J-doll, Hestia, Lati Yellow, MSD and SD dolls.

Do I need an account to make a purchase?
You don't need to sign up for an account to make a purchase. Simply add your items into your shopping cart and when you are ready to pay for the items, click on CHECKOUT. After reviewing your items, click on the Paypal link and you will be taken to the paypal website to finish the payment. You will be redirected to our site after the payment is completed.
Signing up for an account will give you perks such as notices on sales and of course, latest arrivals notifications. It will also help us process your order swiftly.
Why should I buy from your store as opposed to on Etsy or Ebay? What's the difference?
The store has the full selection of items available from Princess Tapi. The Etsy store lists only in-stock Handmade clothing/accessories and the Ebay store carries mostly wigs and shoes. Since there are fees associated with Etsy and Ebay, the prices will be a little higher than at www.Princesstapi.com.
As a www.PrincessTapi.com registered customer, you will receive perks such as coupons, special customer appreciation sales, and coming soon... POINTS & Exclusive editions! So in short, it really is a personal preference.
We welcome group orders on Wigs, Shoes (Excluding Custom Kicks), Glasses & Shades, and Furniture. For more information on Group Orders, please visit the Group Order Info page.
Payment & Shipping:
How come the tracking number sent to me via Canada Post doesn't work? It says it's in Mississauga, Ontario even after the item arrives!
Please note that unless otherwise stated, all the shipping methods that I use DO NOT INCLUDE TRACKING NUMBERS. The tracking number is automatically sent to you via Canada Post but does not actually track the package. It's more like "proof of purchase" and tells you that a shipping label has been printed.
Please allow some time for delivery and if it is an international destination, please keep in mind that customs might be a factor for the delivery time. I've noticed from my past experience shipping items to France and Spain that it takes a bit longer to arrive due to Customs.
What type of payments do you accept?
We currently accept PAYPAL only.
To purchase an item, simply add it to your shopping cart and when you are ready to checkout, click on the CHECKOUT link at the top of the page and you will be redirected to your shopping cart. You can then click on the Paypal Checkout button to complete your transaction at the secured Paypal official website. We do not store your paypal information in our databases because the payment will be done at the official Paypal website. We will not have access to your personal information and we will NEVER sell your e-mail address to anyone.
You will receive a receipt/invoice for your purchase as well as paypal confirmation once your order has been placed.
How will my item be shipped? What is the default shipping method and what choices do I have?
Shipping fee is automatically calculated for you. You can also click on the Estimate Shipping button when you are viewing your shopping cart to see how much shipping is going to be for your purchase. Do you accept returns/refunds?
We will gladly offer you a refund/exchange if the item received was the wrong item. Please contact us within 7 days of receving the item and provide us with a photo of the item received.

What is the difference between Custom Order (the option on items that are made to order on the website) and Custom Commissions?
Custom Order (Items that are made to order on the site):
These are items that are not in stock but can be made for you. You have the option of making small change requests (i.e. materials, colours, buttons, etc) and small size changes (i.e. a Blythe only dress can be specially made for you to fit Obitsu bodies or Pullip)
Custom Commissions:
Custom Commissions are orders that are either based on your design or something that I design for you. This means I will be starting the construction of the garment from scratch. This usually takes a bit longer depending on my schedule at the time of request.
How long does it take for a Custom Order item to be completed?
I will start working on your Custom Order item as soon as we have agreed on the details of the item. This might take up to 2 weeks (depending on my schedule at the time) but usually not more than a week if I have all the necessary materials in stock.
I'm interested in a "Custom Order" item and want to place an order. Is that possible?
Most of the clothing items can be custom-made for you (depending on my availability). HOWEVER, items that are "OOAK" (one of a kind) are permenantly out of stock and will not be reproduced. If you are interested in having a piece custom made for you, please contact me via this form or use the Request Item button on the page of the product you are interested in and I'll get back to you asap.
Princess Tapi currently DO NOT accept custom order on wigs, furniture or shoes.

I accept custom clothing commissions BUT that is dependent on my schedule. I will NOT recreate someone else's work or other stock items. Princess Tapi takes pride in creating UNIQUE & STYLIZED pieces and copying is simply not what my brand is about.
